Breckyn Dixon was able to get the first shot on goal in the 12th minute for the Fighting Scots and the big moment of the first half occurred in the 22nd minute. Baylee DeVries was wiped out by RP's goalkeeper Ava Callender at the edge of the 18-yard box and awarded a penalty kick. DeVries scored for the 1-0 lead on a perfectly placed shot that grazed the crossbar in the upper right corner. Puffer tie the game about three minutes later on a throw-in that bounced over two defenders and to the foot of a Puffer forward who chipped it over goalkeeper Lilli Ward for a 1-1 tie. The first half was 4-2 in favor of Caledonia in shots on goal. Reeths-Puffer turned up their intensity in the second half and had more possession, while winning more one-on-one battles. The first five minutes was weathered by the Fighting Scots and the team started to generate more offense in the middle of the half. Cal had a few corner kicks in the second half and the team defense led by Jazmyn Thompson, Natalie James, Maya Terryn, and Estella Finkbeiner kept the game to a draw in the final minutes
